We are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join our team at one of our conference venues in Maidenhead, SL6 9QH.
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day culinary operations of a busy kitchen that runs 7 days a week, from 6:30am to 10pm. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), working 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis, with shifts covering both mornings and evenings.
This role as Chef de Partie comes with great benefits, including a Christmas break, access to an onsite allotment, and free staff parking.
Our Chef de Partie will enjoy working in a kitchen with full creative autonomy, where creativity and seasonality are at the heart of everything we do. We focus on producing expressive, seasonal menus made entirely from scratch, using only the freshest ingredients. Quality, innovation, and a genuine passion for food define our approach, and we are proud to deliver dishes that reflect both skill and imagination.
We are seeking a Chef de Partie who not only excels in culinary technique but is also personable, professional, and enthusiastic about hospitality. This is a front-facing role within a highly interactive environment, as our team regularly engages with guests during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. Confidence, excellent communication skills, and a warm, presentable manner are therefore just as important as strong kitchen ability.
The successful candidate will gain experience across a diverse range of services. Our kitchen delivers buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, alongside TDH menus and refined fine dining events. In addition to our regular offerings, we host private dining experiences, BBQs, banquets, weddings, and bar food service. This variety provides an outstanding opportunity for a Chef de Partie to develop versatility, showcase creativity, and refine their skills across multiple styles of cuisine and service.
In this role, you will support senior chefs in the preparation, cooking, and service of dishes from our menus, ensuring every plate meets our high standards. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised section, and contributing to smooth and efficient service. A strong understanding of HACCP procedures, COSHH regulations, stock control, and health and safety standards is essential, as maintaining compliance and kitchen excellence is a key part of the role.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Chef de Partie looking to grow within a dynamic and ambitious kitchen environment. If you are passionate about food, thrive in a busy hospitality setting, and are eager to develop your career while working across a broad range of events and dining styles, we would love to hear from you.
