We are currently recruiting for a Cafe Supervisor to join our team at one of our Colleges in Oxford, OX1 3LZ.

This is a term-time only position, working 40 hours a week, 5 out of 7 days. Shifts will be on a rota basis between the hours of 8am and 6pm. A typical week will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, however flexbility will be required in order to cater for the business needs.

The café offers a variety of snacks and pastries, freshly made smoothies, barista-quality coffees, iced teas and coffees, as well as hot, freshly prepared pizzettas and a selection of fresh salads. We are seeking a smart, capable, and independent Café Supervisor to manage daily operations and provide excellent service to staff, students, and external visitors. The ideal candidate will have barista training, be confident in preparing a range of hot and cold beverages, and be comfortable supporting food service. A good understanding of food hygiene is essential, along with a proactive attitude and willingness to assist with food preparation as needed.

As our Cafe Supervisor you will:

• Have experience working as a barista in a busy cafe / deli environment.
• Be organised and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment.
• Ensure you follow the rules of health and safety.
• Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy.
• Work well in a large team.
• Have excellent customer service skills.
