We are currently recruiting for a Front of House to join our team at one of our Colleges in Oxford OX1 3LZ.
This is a zero-hour contract working on a rota basis, as needed.
Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.
We are a fresh, food-led operation open seven days a week, welcoming an average of 200 guests daily, in addition to providing hospitality services. We take great pride in the high quality of our offering, which includes daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner services featuring buffets, a salad bar, a grab-and-go section, and freshly baked goods. We also provide daily specials and host fine dining dinners, special events, and themed social gatherings.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring front of house operations run smoothly. You’ll be responsible for setting up and maintaining service areas, greeting and assisting guests, and ensuring all tables and public spaces are clean, organised, and well-presented. You may also support food and beverage service and carry out additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management team.
As our Front of House Assistant, you will:
Have flexibility to work both front and back of house
Ideally have experience working in a similar environment
Have experience in a customer focused role
Maintain a professional approach
Be able to maintain the presentation of servery areas at all times
