We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our conference venues in Oxford OX1 3RG.

Please note that this is a zero-hour contract. This busy venue operates 7 days a week between 6am and midnight. You will work on a rota basis, as per the business needs.

We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.

We are a fresh, food-led operation open seven days a week, catering for up to 200 guests daily. You will assist in delivering exceptional service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a range of hospitality events including fine dining, BBQs, weddings, and canapé receptions. We take great pride in the high quality of our offering and the standards we maintain.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring front of house operations run smoothly. You’ll be responsible for setting up and maintaining service areas, greeting and assisting guests, and ensuring all tables and public spaces are clean, organised, and well-presented. You may also support food and beverage service and carry out additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management team.

As our Front of House Assistant, you will:

• Have flexibility to work both front and back of house
• Ideally have experience working in a similar environment
• Have experience in a customer focused role
• Maintain a professional approach
• Be able to maintain the presentation of servery areas at all times
