We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our conference venues in Birmingham B4 7ET.
Please note, this is a casual zero-hour contract. You'll work a variety of shifts between the hours of 8am and 11pm, as needed.

We are looking for a positive, honest and reliable employee to join our friendly and hardworking team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will be part of a supportive team responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and wash-up areas. Your duties will include washing pans, plates, trays, and other kitchen equipment, as well as ensuring crockery, cutlery, and glassware are consistently cleaned, organised, and restocked. You will follow a structured deep-cleaning rota and work in a modern kitchen environment alongside a friendly, can-do team. The role also involves maintaining clear and effective communication with the chefs to support smooth kitchen operations, as well as assisting with deliveries as required.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Have experience working in a similar role and environment
Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
Have excellent customer service and social skills
Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 9
Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
