We are currently recruiting for a General Assistant to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in Milton Keynes MK15 8HD. 

This is a permanent, full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 7:00am and 3:30pm.

Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.

We are a fresh food–led operation, catering for approximately 150 people across breakfast, lunch, and hospitality services. You will be part of a team that creates bespoke and exciting menus, featuring global cuisines, themed days, a daily salad bar, and freshly baked desserts. We are seeking a positive, honest, and reliable individual to join our friendly and hardworking team of six. Your day-to-day duties will include food preparation, maintaining workstations and the service counter, delivering excellent customer service, replenishing cutlery and crockery, and carrying out other ad hoc tasks as directed by the Chef Manager.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Have experience working in a similar role and environment
• Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
• Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
• Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
• Have excellent customer service and social skills
• Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
• Be customer focused
• Have basic food knowledge
• Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
